The Sierra Wave Solar Link 240 and Solar Link 80 portable solar panel kit can be used for emergencies, camping, and other tasks where portable power is required.
The Sierra Wave Solar Link 240 is a 240 watt-hour power unit, powered by a 400 watt inverter and a lithium-ion battery. Take it with you in the car, boat, RV, etc. It comes with a padded carrying case, 110V AC wall plug charger cord, and 12V DC charger cord.
Charge your cell phone with one of the two available USB ports, run or charge your laptop or other small electronic device with the AC plug. The 400-watt inverter allows you to run or charge electrical devices with modest power needs.
The Solar Link 80 is an easy-to-use, 80-watt folding solar panel that charges the Solar Link 240. It folds into the size of a tall suitcase, and comes with battery clips for trickle-charging 12V batteries in RVs, etc.
The solar panel is sturdy, portable, easy to set up, and easy to store. Its strong aluminum frame with heavy-duty handles allows the solar panel to be quickly set up and positioned for use: Simply remove the solar panel from the carrying case, unfold, and position. The solar panel has a built-in stand that folds out from the back. When not in use, the solar panel folds in half and stores in the carry case. Heavy-duty metal handles attached to the top of the solar panel allow you to lift and move the panel.
Sierra Wave 80 and 120 solar panels have built-in charge controllers that prevent overcharging and possible damage to the battery pack. An additional Sierra Wave 80-watt solar panel (sold separately) can be chained to this one, providing 160 watt-hours of solar recharging power.
This kit is expensive and large. It will be shipped insured and will require an adult's signature at delivery. This is done to help protect your order.
