The Trek 28 is a 28-watt, portable, folding 12-volt solar panel. Its four 7-watt panels can charge a cell phone, tablet, GoPro camera, GPS unit, or other USB-charged device. Connect your USB devices directly the to solar panel with a USB plug. Chain two Trek 28's together for 56 watts of power.
Take 28 watts of charging power with you wherever you go: hiking, backpacking, to the park, to the beach, or around campus. This is a truly scalable system that will charge USB or 12-volt car-adapter devices.
There are 3 different ports built into the Trek 28:
The USB port allows you to connect any device that can be charged via USB, including cell phones, tablets, GoPro cameras, portable GPS devices, etc. Charge the device directly from the Trek 28.
The 12V port allows you to directly charge a Goal Zero Sherpa, Yeti 150, Yeti 400, or Yeti 1250 battery packs. (Note: We do not recommended trying to charge the Yeti 1250 with the Trek 28. A larger solar panel should be used for this large-capacity battery pack.)
The ports and cables on the Trek 28 are located in the built-in pouch. This allows you to keep all your cables and accessories together in one place for easy carrying.

Only received this a few days ago, but seems very solid and high quality. Little concerned about the adapter needed to connect to the 8mm goal zero charging port. Seems a little loose and a few times while charging my Sherpa 50, it seemed to stop charging, but restarted after replugging it back in. It charged the Sherpa 50 despite a partly cloudy day, though, and was charging my Yeti 150 despite a slightly drizzly sky, so overall no complaints. Time will tell I guess in regards to the adapter. And thanks for the awesome customer service - my product was shipped quickly and arrived in a timely fashion with emails constantly undating me on the progress.
